Another celebration in the NSSC Family. Glo Farmer, an 18U athlete from Portageville High School (class of 2026), has officially signed to play college volleyball at Mineral Area College.
Glo is exactly the kind of player whose impact is felt the moment she steps in the gym. Energy. Effort. Heart. Now she’s bringing all of that to the next level.
Meet Glo Farmer
Glo has been a welcome member of the NSSC Family — known for the kind of contagious energy that lifts a gym. A graduate of Portageville High School, she’s the player every team wants in the huddle and every coach wants to coach.
Talent matters, sure. But what makes Glo stand out is bigger than the skill — it’s the attitude. The encouragement she gives teammates. The way she shows up for tough days. The leadership that comes naturally, even when she isn’t trying to be a leader. That’s the real reason her recruiting story ended the way it did.

From the NSSC Coaching Staff
“Glo is an amazing athlete with natural abilities and a vertical that enhances her front row play. She will do great and I am excited for this opportunity for her to play at the next level.“
— Coach Carl Ritter, NSSC Volleyball Club
About Mineral Area College
Located in Park Hills, Missouri, Mineral Area College (MAC) is a public community college and home to the Cardinals. MAC competes at the NJCAA level and has built a long tradition of athletic and academic excellence, with strong programs across multiple sports and a campus community that genuinely shows up for its student-athletes.
For a volleyball player, Mineral Area is the kind of program where athletes get serious court time and real coaching, with the academic support to prepare for whatever comes next — whether that’s a four-year transfer or a different path entirely. It’s an excellent landing spot for an athlete like Glo, who’s ready to compete and ready to grow.

What’s Next for Glo
As Glo closes out her final NSSC season, she’s heading into the next chapter ready to bring the same energy that’s made her unforgettable around here. The campus is going to feel it. The team is going to feel it. The whole MAC volleyball program is going to feel it.
Glo, on behalf of every coach, teammate, and Family member at NSSC — we love you. We will miss seeing you in NSSC colors. But we’ll be watching every single match in Cardinal red. Go own it. 💛
