TEAM LEVELS Β· 2026–2027

THREE TIERS. EVERY ATHLETE HAS A PATH.

NSSC offers three team levels so every player gets matched to the right level of challenge, travel, and time commitment.

TOP TIER

NIKE NATIONAL

Our highest-level competitive teams. National tournaments, top-tier travel, and elite coaching for athletes serious about college-pathway play.

COMPETITIVE

BLACK REGIONAL

High-level competitive play with a regional tournament schedule. Strong development with manageable travel for committed athletes.

DEVELOPMENTAL

WHITE LOCAL

Local-focused competitive teams perfect for first-year club athletes or families who want growth without heavy travel weekends.

SHOW UP READY

WHAT TO BRING TO TRYOUTS

  • Athletic clothing your athlete can move freely in
  • Court shoes (clean, non-marking soles)
  • Knee pads
  • Water bottle (and a snack for between sessions)
  • Hair tied back β€” long hair up
  • A parent or guardian for check-in & paperwork
  • Pre-registration confirmation (digital or printed)
  • A great attitude β€” coaches evaluate effort, too!

πŸŽ‰ SELECTED FOR A TEAM? HERE'S WHAT'S NEXT.

NEW TO CLUB VOLLEYBALL?

WE'VE GOT YOU.

Club tryouts can feel intense for first-time families. Here's why NSSC parents say their first tryout was easier than they expected.

🀝

Real Coaches, Real Care

Our coaches care about every athlete on the court β€” not just the top scorers. Effort, attitude, and growth matter here.

πŸ†

A Spot for Every Level

With three tiers per age division we make room for development athletes β€” not just elite ones.

🏠

The NSSC Family

You're not joining a roster β€” you're joining a community. Families make lifelong friends here, and teams cheer for each other.

πŸ’°

Local-First = Lower Cost

We self-host tournaments. That means more time playing, less time (and money) traveling on weekends.

Each session runs about 2–3 hours, including check-in and warm-up. Plan to be at The Sportsplex for the full session.

You'll receive an invitation to Commitment Night and Uniform Sizing the following Sunday. A down payment is required at Commitment Night.
What happens if my athlete isn't offered a spot?
