The NSSC Family has another reason to celebrate. Emma Eilers, an 18U athlete from Advance High School class off 2026, has officially committed to continue her volleyball career at Jefferson College.
Emma’s signing is the result of years of focused work — the kind of work that doesn’t get headlines but absolutely gets noticed by college coaches.
Meet Emma Eilers
Emma has been an NSSC athlete who consistently raised the bar around her. A graduate of Advance High School, she brings the trifecta every college program is looking for — skill, work ethic, and the kind of attitude that makes practice better for everyone in the gym.
She’s the kind of player who doesn’t take days off. She’s the kind of teammate who picks people up. And she’s the kind of competitor who treats every rep like it matters. That doesn’t go unnoticed — and it’s exactly why Jefferson College made room on its roster.

From the NSSC Coaching Staff
“Emma is a great all around player! She isn’t big but plays much bigger than her size. She can do multiple things on the court and will bring a solid back row presence at the next level.“
— Coach Carl Ritter, NSSC Volleyball Club Director
About Jefferson College
Located in Hillsboro, Missouri, just south of St. Louis, Jefferson College is a public community college and home to the Vikings. The school’s athletic program competes at the NJCAA level and has built a reputation for developing competitive teams that translate into strong four-year transfer opportunities.
For a volleyball player, Jefferson is the kind of program where athletes get real reps, real game time, and real coaching — all in a setting that prioritizes both athletic and academic growth. Many athletes use their two years at Jefferson as a launching pad to four-year programs, and Emma is set up to take full advantage of that path.

What’s Next for Emma
As Emma finishes out her senior year and final NSSC season, she’s walking into the next chapter ready to do the work all over again — at a higher level, with a new team, on a new campus. The fundamentals are there. The mindset is there. Now she just gets to compete.
Emma, on behalf of the entire NSSC Family — we are SO proud. Jefferson College is getting a player who shows up every single day, and that’s the kind of athlete who builds programs. Go light it up. 💛
