The choice is almost always: drive 15 minutes south to NSSC at The Sportsplex in Cape Girardeau, or drive two hours north to St. Louis.

NSSC is Southeast Missouri’s largest youth volleyball club — 30+ teams, 300+ athletes, and three competitive tiers per age group so every Jackson player has a path. We’re also the only Nike-sponsored club in the region, which means every athlete gets Nike-branded uniforms and their own Hudl game-film account — the same resources you’d expect from a top St. Louis club without the windshield time.
And because we self-host most of our tournaments at The Sportsplex, Jackson families spend most weekends close to home instead of in hotel rooms three hours away.

Is there a volleyball club in Jackson, MO?
There’s no high-level club volleyball program inside Jackson city limits, but NSSC — based 15 minutes south at The Sportsplex in Cape Girardeau — is the closest option and is home to dozens of Jackson families every season. We’re Southeast Missouri’s largest and only Nike-sponsored club.
How long is the drive from Jackson to NSSC practice?
About 10-15 minutes south on I-55 from Jackson, MO to The Sportsplex in Cape Girardeau. Most weekday practices are two hours between 6–9 PM, so you’re looking at a manageable evening commute that’s usually shorter than driving to a Jackson HS away game.
Do other Jackson families carpool to NSSC?
Can my athlete play NSSC and Jackson school volleyball?
Yes. The club season runs largely opposite Jackson’s school volleyball season, so your athlete keeps developing year-round and shows up to school tryouts stronger. The club season starts after high school season. For Jr High season your athlete’s club season with either break for school or be already finished. NSSC is designed to complement school ball, not compete with it.
How much does club volleyball cost for Jackson families?
NSSC’s 2026–27 season fees are approximately $1,300 (White Local), $1,500 (Black Regional), and $2,300 (Nike National). Tryouts are $25 to register. Two Nike-branded uniforms are included in season fees.
When are NSSC tryouts and how does my Jackson athlete sign up?
Girls HS tryouts (15U–18U) are July 24, 2026 from 5–9 PM. Girls Youth tryouts (10U–14U) are October 24, 2026, 8:30 AM – 3 PM. Both held at The Sportsplex in Cape Girardeau. Register in advance on the Tryouts page.
