NSSC’s volleyball camps in Cape Girardeau, MO are open to every athlete — you don’t have to be in our club, you don’t have to be on a school team, and you don’t have to have any prior volleyball experience.
We run camps for ages 4 (Tiny Tots) through 18 (HS), grouped by age and skill so coaches can actually teach. Most summer camps maintain a 1 coach per 5 athletes ratio — the same coaching density our club teams get in practice. Camps fill fast because spots are capped on purpose.
Whether you’re prepping for Cape Central or Jackson HS tryouts in the fall, trying volleyball for the very first time, or just looking for something fun for the kids this summer — there’s a camp on the schedule for your athlete.

SPRING CAMPS
Tiny Tots and Mini Munchkins spring camps run across four April evenings at Osage Centre. Back-to-back times make it easy for families with multiple kids. T-shirt included.
JUNE & JULY · AGES 4–18
SUMMER CAMPS
Two-day camps for High School, Junior High, Youth, Tiny Tots, and Mini Munchkins athletes. Maintained at 1 coach per 5 athletes — the same ratio our Nike club teams get. T-shirt included.
JUNE & AUGUST · AGES 8–18
SKILLS CLINICS
Position-specific HS clinics (hitting/blocking, defense/passing, serving) capped at 5 per court for real coaching attention. Beginner clinics in August for new and returning athletes.
JULY · AGES 14–18 · $10 / SESSION
HS OPEN GYM
Three-session HS Open Gym in July — the lowest-cost way to get on the court before fall school tryouts or NSSC tryouts. Six courts, two coaches per court, 100+ attended in 2025.

Where are the camps held in Cape Girardeau?
Most NSSC volleyball camps in Cape Girardeau, MO are held at The Sportsplex (HS, junior high, youth camps, skills clinics, HS Open Gym). Tiny Tots and Mini Munchkins camps are mostly held at Osage Centre. Both facilities are centrally located with parent-friendly viewing.
Does my athlete have to be in NSSC to attend a camp?
No. NSSC camps are open to every athlete in the Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri area — club member or not, school team or not, experienced or brand new. Camps are a great way to try volleyball before committing to a full club season.

Yes — summer camps and HS Open Gym are specifically designed to shake off the rust, refine technique, and build confidence before school tryouts in the fall. Many local Cape Central, Jackson, and SEMO HS athletes use NSSC camps as their summer prep.
